Hinged back in 18K (750 thousandths) gold, engraved and chased, with CB initials, inside Helvetia hallmark, numbered 248471, 18K (750 thousandths) gold bowl marked "Weil & Becket, N°248471, 24-jewel minute repeater", numbered 248471. Hand-wound mechanical movement, stamps and double hammer, Swiss lever escapement. Movement functional at time of appraisal, repeater functional but out of adjustment, to be overhauled, with no guarantee of future operation or condition of parts. A few scratches from use, micro-marks on the dial. Diameter 51.5 mm - Gross weight 81.2 g Circa 1900
